Further information about The Faculty can be found here: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/bartlett/ About the role University College London (UCL) wishes to appoint a Teaching and Learning Administrator. The post holder will be based at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, a world-leading faculty ranked #1 in the world for Built Environment studies and #1 in the UK for its research environment. The post holder will provide specialist administration to the school’s programmes, ensuring effective procedures are documented and adopted for dealing with all aspects of its administration. This is an open-ended, full-time position. About You The successful applicant will assist in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students, and staff relating to the designated courses/programmes and beyond. They will support a wide range of processes including enquiries and admissions, organising examinations, payment of fees and stipends, engagement monitoring and maintaining comprehensive student records. They will deliver an outstanding customer service to prospective students, academic staff, and students. The post holder must be efficient, organised and take great care in attention to detail. In addition, the role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL. A professional attitude, willingness to help and a positive outlook are required to adequately execute the duties outlined. The appointee is required to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (Including Mathematics and English Language) or equivalent or having acquired relevant experience. They will also have clear verbal and written communication skills (including accurate grammar, spelling and punctuation), have good interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of people, including the ability to relate to staff and students in a teaching and learning context. They will be able to work under pressure and deal with high volumes of processing while maintaining accuracy, and being able to work independently as well as part of a team are also important.
