Project Engineer (Manufacturing) Ross:on:Wye (Travel to Chesterfield) Competitive Salary (Negotiable) + 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + 5 Matched Pension 8.30am to 5.pm, Monday to Friday Project Engineer required for a market leading manufacturer. The Successful Project Engineer will be either electrically or mechanically biased with an engineering degree or similar level qualification. You will have experience or exposure to manufacturing, preferably within a maintenance engineering capacity. You will work cross functionally and coordinate effectively with other teams and sites. Those with previous project management and/or CAD experience will be at an advantage. The Project Engineer Role: * Responsible for ensuring a safe, clean working environment and permit system is adhered to. * Site Project Management of Capex Projects and Operational projects. * Contractor Management ensuring Health and Safety procedures are in line with company policies. * Sourcing cost:effective solutions and working with OEMs/Suppliers for best return on investment. * Lead projects from detailed design to successful CAR approval stage. * Flexible working hours and days to meet Project deadlines and schedules. * Completion of snag lists, site handover protocols and updating site folders. * Effective planning, co:ordination, and communication with site departments across all sites. * Liaise with relevant departments to assist in the smooth running of the organisation during project stages. * Work with Project Manager to drive change and adhere to industry best practices. * Communicating effectively with Project Managers, Site Management Teams, and Senior Management. * Sites are currently in Chesterfield and Ross on Wye. Travel between sites is required based on projects.
