This full:time Battery Modelling and Simulation Engineer role is based in Coventry and offers a salary of up to A GBP 45,000 p.a. and excellent benefits. As a Battery Modelling and Simulation Engineer, you will join the CAE and Data Science team and cooperate closely with the established engineering team while taking responsibility for internal and customer projects. In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to: * Perform data processing and analysis, reporting to internal and customer teams and management * Develop battery and powertrain models and perform thermal and electrical simulation activities * Carry out analysis using 1:D and 3:D modelling techniques as applicable * Present results and recommendation of analysis to stakeholders. for this Battery Modelling and Simulation Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include: * Experience in battery or powertrain modelling and simulation, model correlation and validation against test data * Experience in MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make clear technical recommendations across multifunctional disciplines * The flexibility to work across multiple projects/locations.
