Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Powertrain NVH Development Engineer to join one of the worlds largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains inclusive and friendly team. This full:time role is based in Coventry and offers a salary of up to A GBP 45,000 p.a. and excellent benefits. As a Powertrain NVH Development Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting Start Of Production (SOP) projects. You will join the team with the primary objective of working closely with customers to develop, test and optimise the NVH performance of powertrain (electrified and conventional) for future vehicle programmes. In your first few weeks in this Powertrain NVH Development Engineer role, you can expect to be: * Responsible for vehicle and rig testing from requirement definition, instrumentation to data analysis and reporting * Conducting vehicle and/or rig testing where required * Supervision of the testing facility set up, to ensure rig and Unit Under Test (UUT) fulfill requirement * Technical direction to test facilities and other stakeholders * Data processing and analysis that will be used to make engineering decisions. for this Powertrain NVH Development Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include: * Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant engineering area (Mechanical, Automotive, etc.) * Experience in powertrain NVH development and/or testing * Ability to perform issue identification and troubleshooting * The ability to process vehicle and/or rig NVH data * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to summarise and make clear technical recommendations.
