Position: Fleet Maintenance Pricing Assistant Location: Wolverhampton Salary: GBP 37,500 Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am:5.00pm or 7.30am:4.30pm Shift: Day shift/ 40 hours Benefits: 25 days holiday + Bank holidays, Birthday off, Perkbox, Life cover, Holiday purchase scheme + onsite parking Fleet Maintenance Pricing Assistant Opportunity Join our dynamic growing team as the new Fleet Maintenance Pricing Assistant Your role will involve supporting our Fleet Maintenance Pricing Manager in crafting competitive maintenance pricing solutions for our diverse range of vehicle within the contract, hire, lease and return division. With approximately 7,000 vehicles in the fleet and growing, your contributions will be pivotal. Please note this is a newly created role due to increased business levels and will work closely alongside the Fleet Maintenance Pricing Manager Fleet Maintenance Pricing Assistant Responsibilities : Manage the repair and maintenance pricing matrix efficiently: : Review labour rates and parts costs, ensuring alignment with supplier agreements and manufacturer pricing structures. : Conduct quarterly audits of all manufacturer pricing matrices. : Ensure clear documentation and accessibility of matrix summary sheets for procurement personnel. : Conduct manufacturer comparison reviews to optimize Pay:As:You:Go (PAYG) matrix projections against monthly contract maintenance costs. : Perform monthly top:level reviews of underperforming contracts. : Serve as the primary contact for procurement and contract management teams: : Provide tailored collection and delivery pricing for customers and secure documented agreements. : Obtain maintenance quotations specific to manufacturer and vehicle types. : Handle rental agreement budget requests and review new vehicle orders to ensure accurate maintenance solutions. : Process manufacturer:backed maintenance agreements, ensuring all documentation is properly signed, documented, and logged. : Develop comprehensive maintenance matrices, combining manufacturers R and M packages with PAYG budgets to deliver cost:effective solutions. Fleet Maintenance Pricing Assistant Qualifications / Experience required : Recognized Technical qualifications such as City and Guilds or NVQ in HGV. : Strong understanding of commercial vehicle operational maintenance requirements. : Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. : Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines. : Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. : Proactive approach to time management, both as part of a team and independently.
