Job description:

We are looking for an experienced administrator/receptionist with a mature outlook, to undertake the day-to-day administration of a busy Structural Engineering practice. To work closely alongside the main director and his team, dealing with an array of New Business enquiries, ongoing client queries and administrative duties. The successful candidate will possess a wide range of skills but most importantly they will be able to demonstrate: - Experience in an administrative/secretarial role- i.e., minimum 3 years in an office setting. Excellent Secretarial/IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office. Strong admin skills and a keen eye for detail. Honest, discrete, and trustworthy. Excellent communication skills - Have a good telephone manner and customer relation skills, taking inbound outbound telephone calls. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks as necessary. The ability to work on own initiative but also proactively within a small team. The ability to deal with day-to-day issues quickly and effectively. Hold a full driving licence. General day-to-day administration to include: - Responding to email correspondence. Receiving/logging new enquiries. Creating new project files. Producing standard documentation, typing Structural Reports from notes or dictation Issue invoices and undertake credit control. Administer staff expenses. Filing, scanning, and photocopying. Sorting and distributing post. Diary management – making appointments for the main director. Maintenance of office stationery and ordering supplies. BENEFITS INCLUDE: Salary - £12.00 per hour. 25 hours a week – Monday-Friday - 9.30am – 2.30pm 21 days annual leave (full time equivalent) plus Bank Holiday entitlement. Free Parking on site.
