Quantity Surveyor Gloucester GBP40k - GBP45k + package Sphere Solutions are currently working with a reputable contractor in Gloucester, that are currently looking for a shopfitting QS on a permanent basis. As a Quantity Surveyor you will ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest quality whilst exceeding our clients rsquo; expectations. Job Role * Manage the cashflow on projects ensuring timely valuations are submitted and invoices are paid when due. * Support the project team with commercial and contractual expertise. * Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. * Prepare and present monthly cost reports. * Value works executed by subcontractors and certify interim and final payments Experience Required: * Financial/credit control experience * Procurement of subcontractors * Experience of working in shopfitting/ construction environment * Attention to detail * Joinery background * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to build effective working relationships with the team and clients. * Good IT Skills particularly with Excel. * Willing to travel to Project locations * Current holder or working towards relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
