Commercial Finance Analyst | GBP35-45k | Darwen + hybrid working Axon Moore is pleased to be working in partnership with an ever-growing business based in Blackburn, as they recruit for an additional Commercial Finance Analyst on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will partner with key stakeholders across the business, providing commercial support to aid business decisions. Through the development of strong relationships across the group, you will understand the requirements, challenges and opportunities impacting trading and provide solutions to enhance trading performance, contributing to the growth of the business. Key Responsibilities and Duties: bull; Support the business in reaching its yearly acquisitions target and year-on-year growth of their existing estate. bull; Financial forecasting and variance analysis reporting on weekly/monthly KPIs and overall group performance versus budget. bull; Monitor daily trading data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth. bull; Provide analysis of demand trends to stakeholders with recommendations for product, price and promotional opportunities. bull; Track performance of different cohorts over time to measure improvements in LFL sales and profitability. bull; Analyse past results for performance identifying trends to then make recommendations for improvements, opportunities, and risks. bull; Carry out data profiling to identify anomalies. bull; Support with the budgeting process for HQ as well as the estate. bull; Support with project-based development work for reporting purposes, including UAT and liaising with external providers. bull; Review and refine processes to encourage automation where possible, creating efficiencies. bull; Assist with ad-hoc Finance projects across the group. bull; Complete ROI and trend analysis on practice performance pre and post-acquisition. bull; Fulfil information requests from the wider finance team and stakeholders. bull; Produce high quality financial reporting to be delivered by senior management. bull; Drive integrity, attention to detail and accuracy of reporting. Proactively work with others to ensure necessary improvements to data quality. bull; Take ownership of data processes to ensure data is available in a clear and consistent format.
