Machine Operator Buckingham GBP11.70 per hour Mon to Thurs 07:30 - 17:30 Fri 07:30 - 11:30 Interaction Recruitment are working with an established manufacturing organisation in Buckingham, looking for Production Operatives to join. Our client have a state of the art, automated and logistically well-placed manufacturing facility. This enables them to give a fantastic service to their customers, and produce the highest quality products with minimal impact to the environment. Due to significant growth and due to this continued growth, we are supporting with their search for: Production Line Machine Operators Responsibilities and Duties: Ensure the products are manufactured to the desired quality requirements You will be working either independently and/or as a part of a team running and overseeing different sections of the production line, Making sure the production output meets the desired targets. Making sure the production output meets the desired targets and the machine runs smoothly. Take control of the day to day running including setting and completing changeovers in a timely manner. Report any downtime to Team Leader / Manager immediately Comply with Health Safety procedures Ensure safe working area when you start and complete a product, Escalate and issues immediately to you team leader. Operate machine safely Improvement activities: Become an active and contributing team member of the production, Mentor staff and pro-actively assist development of all improvement activities on all zones, Qualifications Skills: You must be hardworking and healthy. This role is very manual. Must have an eye for detail. Be a great team player Communicate effectively with all colleagues Determined to drive production capacity and rewarded with a Production Bonus! Previous experience within the timber industry or some experience working on industrial production lines would be beneficial. Machine setting and running experience is preferable.
