Low Voltage Electrician - Lancashire - Salary up to GBP49,000 DOE CBW has a new opportunity for a Low Voltage Electrician to join an established FM company on a permanent basis. The sucsessfull candidate will provide building services and maintenance to a commercial building. This will include fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation. Key Responsibilities: bull; Surveying sites where electrical systems are installed bull; Drafting electrical installation plans and technical diagrams bull; Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings bull; Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations bull; Supervising ongoing electrical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed bull; Using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer rsquo;s installation manuals to complete projects bull; Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job bull; Identifying electrical problems and repairing them bull; Advising the company rsquo;s management when to replace aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards bull; Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment bull; Have full knowledge of work areas and follow schedules as required bull; Demonstrate full working knowledge of all relevant equipment and materials bull; Highlight any facilities-related issues to line management and/or service desk, ensuring the customer rsquo;s work environment and experience is always at the forefront of our daily activity bull; To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, sothat relevant standards are met.
