Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Reading, Berkshire Position Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Contract Start Date: ASAP Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a team at a secondary school in Reading, Berkshire. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced educators to support students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they require to excel academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs. Minimum 6 months UK classroom expereince Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to meet the diverse needs of students.Requirements: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is required. Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support are advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
