Finance officer part time

The Role: * Bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and monitoring. * Produce, manage and monitor monthly management accounts for the individual. * Support the senior management and audit team * Assist in the preparation of audit reports where appropriate and necessary Support, plan and/ or deliver compliance reports * To support the Finance Audit Partner by providing details relating to the monitoring of expenditures against restricted budgets * Support the Central Team with payroll when necessary * To continually review, develop and improve systems, processes, and services in support of the company rsquo;s vision of excellence * Any other reasonable task or duty that falls within the remit of the central function within the company * Experience in producing financial forecasts on a regular basis and month-end procedures Key skills: * Good standard of education including Maths English A-C grades * Ability to see the bigger picture and understand how the Finance function underpins the work of the company * Ability to build rapport and relationships with specific experience in dealing with the various layers of stakeholders * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise in a positive way * Excellent communication skills both written, verbal and listening * Ability to analyse, present and understand financial information * A public sector/Education working background would be beneficial Due to high levels of applications, Aspire Recruitment will only be able to contact candidates who are short-listed for the role.
