Job Summary - As the Maintenance and Facility Manager at Mobile Water Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of both equipment and facilities. This role requires a strategic approach to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and efficiency of rental equipment and the physical premises. The Maintenance and Facility Manager will lead a team of maintenance technicians and collaborate with other departments to maintain a high standard of quality across all aspects of the rental business. Reports to - The Maintenance and Facility Manager reports to the Maintenance and Fleet Manager, Europe. Equipment Maintenance: #x25AA; Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all rental equipment. #x25AA; Conduct regular inspections to identify and address equipment issues promptly. #x25AA; Coordinate with vendors for specialized equipment maintenance and repairs. Regeneration Station Maintenance: #x25AA; Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program ensuring any downtime is kept to a minimum. #x25AA; Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential operational issues promptly. #x25AA; Coordinate with vendors for specialized equipment maintenance and calibration. Facility Management: #x25AA; Oversee the maintenance of buildings, offices, and storage facilities. #x25AA; Manage facility improvement projects, renovations, and repairs. #x25AA; Ensure compliance with safety and building codes. #x25AA; Monitor subcontractors on site activities and safety compliance. Team Leadership: #x25AA; Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians. #x25AA; Provide training and guidance to ensure the team is well-equipped to handle maintenance tasks effectively. #x25AA; Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring a balanced workload. Safety Compliance: #x25AA; Ensure that all maintenance and facility activities comply with local safety regulations and company policies. #x25AA; Conduct regular safety training sessions for maintenance staff. #x25AA; Investigate and report any accidents or safety violations. #x25AA; Develop H S plans for maintenance projects. Inventory Management: #x25AA; Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and equipment components. #x25AA; Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary. #x25AA; Optimize inventory management processes to minimize downtime. Documentation: #x25AA; Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance, facility repairs, and improvements. #x25AA; Generate reports on equipment and facility performance, maintenance costs, and downtime. #x25AA; Maintain documentation for compliance with regulatory standards. Cost and Budget Management: #x25AA; Assist in the development of the maintenance and facility budget. #x25AA; Monitor and control maintenance-related and facility expenses to stay within budgetary constraints. #x25AA; Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety and quality. #x25AA; Provide regular reports on cost performance and suggest improvements. Vendor and Supplier Relations: #x25AA; Manage relationships with external suppliers, service providers, and equipment manufacturers. #x25AA; Collaborate with procurement to negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Collaboration: #x25AA; Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and logistics, to coordinate equipment availability and maintenance schedules. #x25AA; Communicate effectively with rental coordinators to address customer concerns and equipment availability. On Call Management: #x25AA; Participate in the on-call Rota to support the business requirements. #x25AA; Performs other duties of similar nature and level as assigned. Education and experience - #x25AA; Bachelor #39;s degree or HNC in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field. #x25AA; Proven experience in equipment maintenance and facility management, preferably in the rental industry. #x25AA; Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards #x25AA; Budget management and cost control experience #x25AA; A good level of English language to communicate effective and clear with both technical and non-technical personnel, including clients, team members, and supervisors. #x25AA; Knowledge of Google Application Suite and/or Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Licensing/certifications - #x25AA; Possess a valid Driver #39;s License to drive in the region.
