We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Coordinator to join an award winning manufacturer in Romsey. This is a fantastic opportunity with great variety and a chance to work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and support the wider supply chain team to achieve set targets. As Procurement Coordinator you will: Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of assembly Interpret inventory requirements, production schedules, purchase requests and documents to coordinate purchasing activities within the organisation. Utilise the Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) or IT system that is in place and ensure that data is accurate and up to date. Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages or quality that affect production. Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and identify and support continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels, and support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy. Minimise obsolete/slow moving stock and ensure business is left with minimum liability.
