Environmental enforcement officer

A council in Norfolk are looking for an experienced Environmental Enforcement Officer to assist with the patrolling and investigating of the high streets of the local area. The Role * GBP20-25p/h * 6 - month contract with chance of extension * 37 hour working week * This council take a flexible hybrid working approach General responsibilities include: * Investigating littering, fly-tipping and environmental crime in your patch. * Foot patrols of on and off-street areas, inspecting public areas, identifying contraventions * Interact well with the Borough rsquo;s residents and businesses to understand their needs and provide support. * Experienced in issuing a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN),where warranted * Produce high quality prosecution statements, case files and educational material to support Council action to tackle offending behaviour.
