Production supervisor

REF: 23870SOFSR Production Supervisor Location: Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire Hours of work: Monday ndash; Friday 6:30am to finish (Must be flexible with hours up to 6pm and Saturday working) Pay : GBP12.78 per hour Our client has had an increase in business and are looking to expand their team! Responsibilities include: * Liaise with Production Operatives and Production Manager. * Responsible for the cost effective running of the factory rsquo;s production lines whilst maintaining safety, quality, and legal standards. It will involve the co-ordination of production and all personnel to meet daily targets. * Monitoring of productivity levels. * Management of line personnel. * Efficient use of raw material. * Ensuring KPIs for cost, safety and quality are adhered to. * Management of production systems in accordance with BRC. * Promotion of high standards of hygiene. * Ensure the appropriate PPE is worn within the packing area. Skills and experience: * The successful candidate will ideally have a production background and some supervisory experience. * Ability to work well under pressure and to think outside the box. * Own transport is essential due to location of the company. * Flexibility with working hours.
