We are Head of Innovation for a fixed-term opportunity, offering a hybrid work model at either our Nottingham or Coventry office locations. This role is a 6 month fixed term contract and includes a car allowance. As the founding leader of a new U.K. innovation team, you will ignite creativity across our organization, catalysing transformative projects that shape the future of energy. What we need from you * Experience leading an innovation team or clear transferable skills * Experience of the end-to-end innovation process, including idea generation, incubation and scaling * Knowledge and application of innovation techniques and concepts * Experience of business model development * Strong customer, commercial, financial, and entrepreneurial acumen - leading the development of business plans and investment cases * Strong analytical (qualitative and quantitative), critical thinking, and conceptualisation skills * Strong interpersonal skills stakeholder management - building deep relationships and networks, with ability to influence people at all levels * Ability to mobilise and lead cross-functional teams including where they do not have direct authority, collaborating effectively * Degree level education, preferably in a numerate discipline If would also be good if you had: * MBA or other relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications. * Start-up experience * Experience of the innovation function in a large corporate * Strong and relevant external networks Here #39;s what else you need to know * We welcome applications from all backgrounds and experiences and have a range of flexible working options to suit everyone. * Competitive salary * Company car allowance * Location ndash; Nottingham or Coventry with travel to our other sites when required. * Working environment: Flexible hybrid working ndash; a blend of in the office 2-3 days a week and at home the remainder. * 26 days holiday plus bank holidays each year ndash; this includes a guaranteed day of for your birthday off if you want it. * Excellent parental leave allowance * The chance to choose from our award-winning Flexible Benefits package which includes the option to buy up to 10 days holiday a year. * We rsquo;ve exciting opportunities for everyone to develop their talent at E.ON.
