Job Title: CNC Operator/Machinist Location: Hull Salary: GBP13.39 per hour Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday About Us: Summit Selection are working with a leading engineering company in Hull. With a commitment to precision engineering and quality production, they are expanding their team and seeking a skilled CNC Operative to join them. Role Overview: As a CNC Operator/ Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. You will work closely with their engineering and production teams to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of products. Key Responsibilities: * Set up and operate CNC machines to produce components to tight tolerances. * Interpret engineering drawings and program CNC machines accordingly. * Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications using precision measuring tools. * Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. * Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements: * Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. * Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining techniques. * Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. * Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
