CNC Machinist Permanent Monday - Friday Days and Afternoons Up to GBP42,250 + a comprehensive benefits package Stroud We are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join an international manufacturer in Stroud. As a CNC Machinist you will: Set and operate the CNC machines in line with the delivery requirements of the business, ensuring that products are produced efficiently; that they are of the right quality, quantity, and cost; and that they are produced on time. Comply with Company #39;s Health and Safety policies and procedures. Take responsibility for the quality and inspection of your own work and take ownership for cleaning and de-burring of the parts. #x200B; #x200B; Set the machines using the set-up sheets, tooling/fixtures and Edgecam programmes provided by the Production Engineering Department. #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; Run the machines in line with the speeds and feeds called up by the programs and monitor performance to ensure the cycle time meets the estimated costed time. #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B; #x200B;Carry out in cycle inspection of the parts produced, using micrometres, verniers and coordinate measuring machine reports.
