Teaching assistant

We are supporting a friendly, community-oriented primary school in the Warrington area who require a Teaching Assistant to take up an initial temporary contract within key stage 1. The role will be to start as soon as possible and offers a competitive daily rate of up to GBP115 ltd for experienced staff. Duties: * Supporting a number of classes across key stage one * Providing HLTA cover during PPA time * Working closely with the class teachers in order to ensure children are appropriately assessed and their learning needs are met * Delivering lessons planned and prepared by the class teachers * Marking work reguarly and ensuring books and floor books are up to date Requirements: * Recent UK based experience of providing teaching assistant support to primary school aged children * Strong knowledge of the national curriculum * An understanding of classroom procedures and how children learn * A flexible, caring and adaptive approach to their work If you #39;d like to apply for this role, please submit your application today or call Belmont Recruitment by telephone and speak to Emmy Mowatt
