Health and Safety Manager Merthyr Tydfil, Wales Permanent GBP46,000 - GBP58,000 + bonus + benefits We have partnered with a globally renowned manufacturing organisation who are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Manager. This opportunity will give you the chance to shape and influence the company #39;s Health and Safety culture across two large sites in Merthyr Tydfil, with the support of a wider safety team who will report to you. The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for: - Develop and implement the Health and Safety strategy across the sites - You will be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be - You will drive cultural change, bringing HSE to the forefront - Coaching, managing and developing various senior stakeholders will be essential - Ensure standards are met and continually improved upon - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally - Development of safety team The Health and Safety Manager will have: - Must have experience of working within high-risk manufacturing or engineering environments - NEBOSH Diploma or NCRQ equivalent - CMIOSH would be desirable - Knowledge of LOLER and COSHH - Knowledge of management systems of ISO 14001, 45001 - Proven leadership skills - the ability to engage at all levels is vital - Personality, influencing skills and engagement are crucial Vacancy Reference: PR/(phone number removed) Vacancy Owner: Ryan Binnee | (url removed) | (+44) (phone number removed) | (+44) (phone number removed)
