Estimator - Chester - Construction Our client are an international construction contractor who are looking for Senior Estimator to join their regional office in Manchester. They work on a variety of projects including new build commercial, industrial, Education and healthcare projects. The ideal individual will have experience of working within the industrial, commercial, residential, and retail sectors. Working on multi million GBP estimates alongside commercial teams. Roles, responsibilities and qualifications: middot; Review of tender documentation middot; Working with supply chain to provide accurate tenders - Experience of Estimating Software packages middot; Review of supply chain tender returns middot; Preparation of budget costings middot; Providing sales and estimating documentation middot; Working directly with the clients middot; Internal QA handover packs, subsequent to contract awards middot; Attendance of internal pre-start meetings, subsequent to contract awards - Managing other Estimators middot; Educated to degree qualification in quantity surveying middot; Conversant in software packages such as Microsoft excel, word, outlook and notable construction estimating software packages middot; Main contracting experience middot; Excellent communication and organisational skills - Driving licence If you have the relevant experience and are looking for a new role please apply to Jack Birks at Setsquare Setsquare is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
