Job Title: Toolmaker Salary: Circa GBP35,000 Benefits: Employee Group Life Assurance Scheme, Company Pension, Free Parking Job Type: Permanent Location: Ipswich Job Start date: ASAP Shift Pattern: Days 08:00 ndash; 16:30 Monday to Friday We rsquo;re supporting our client, a leading Injection moulding manufacturer based in Ipswich, who are looking for a Toolmaker to join their growing team. The successful Toolmaker will have experience of Injection Moulding maintenance and repairs, Manual Machining and Hot runner systems experience. Responsibilities for Toolmaker: * Undertake the repair modification of injection mould tools to a high level of workmanship. * Read and understand technical drawings. * Use manual milling machines, lathes, surface, and cylindrical grinders. * Use manual spark eroders. * Undertake the wiring of hot runner systems. * Undertake tool fault finding. * Ensure correct marking/labelling of tools. * Suggest possible improvements to tooling or processes. * Log completed tool maintenance and repair work.
