Environment: Manufacturing - precision engineering Location: Derby Shift: Days - Monday to Thursday 6am-6pm = 48hrs = GBP19.45 per hour/GBP(phone number removed) per annum + OT Role: Permanent Holidays: 33 days Benefits: Death in service x2 of salary, pension Overview: Working in modern, purpose built, manufacturing facilities we now require a Senior Production Team Leader to join the team. The Senior Production Team Leader will working closely with the production manager in the efficient running of the area, being the main point of contact for that area, ensuring quality goods are delivered to the customer on time. Overview of responsibilities Lead the team to ensure production is on time Organise production capacity and plan work load Manager the hand over between shifts Coordinate the team production activities and tasks Attend production meetings The ideal candidate / Production Team Leader may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Previous experience working in a team leader/supervisory capacity within a manufacturing environment = essential Knowledge or background working within a machining or fabrication environment.
