Special education needs teaching assistants

Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants We are recruiting for a SEND TA who will be able to support in both mainstream and SEND schools. A background in Healthcare would suit this role. Experience of working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties is desirable but not essential. SEND TA #39;s know that no two days are the same and that no two children are the same either. We are looking for very special adults who can support children with complex and challenging behaviours. They will know that children require lots of attention, just the right sort of communication, consistency and flexibility, and a non-judgemental approach. They need to be resilient, persistent and solution focused to meet the needs of our children. Some elements of the TA role: supporting teachers in the classroom working with children 1:1 or delivering sessions with small groups of students managing classroom resources managing heightened behaviours and keeping children safe celebrating success Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
