Fabricator welder

Welder / Fabricator Due to expansion and growth permanent positions have arisen for Welder/ Fabricators . . Please note that the main base for this role will be Aberdeen The Role: Fabrication and Welding of Handrails, Extension Sleeves, Deck Hatches, ROV Panels, Padeyes and Bottle Stands. (Valid coding - Advantageous but not essential) Working hours: Dayshift 07:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday + Overtime Nightshift 6:00 to 05:00 Monday to Thursday + overtime Rate of Pay: Days GBP18.50 per hour - Nights GBP22.00 per hour + Overtime (Dependant on experience) Primary Objectives Welding and fabrication in workshop and site. Working knowledge of oil and gas/marine and structural welding/fabrication works and standards. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Time served welder/fabricator. Must be conscientious in approach to welding and fabrication to ensure high standards and quality. Broad knowledge of welding and fabrication operation and procedures as required for the role and may include: middot; Manual Metal Arc (MMA) middot; Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) middot; Metal Active/Metal Inert Gas (MAG/MIG) middot; Gas shielded Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) middot; Oxy-Acetylene cutting/welding middot; Machine/workshop power tools and machinery.
