Early Years Practitioner - Up to GBP14.50ph (negotiable based on experience and qualifications) Due to a recent expansion we are currently recruiting for several vacancies at our stunning, outstanding rated, award winning children rsquo;s day nursery and preschool in Godalming, Surrey in the town centre and a very short walk from the station. 4 or 5 day working week available. Part time hours can also be considered. We are a 90 place setting and invest heavily in our facilities, including smart boards, a separate purpose built baby unit and our very own soft play area. Main responsibilities of the Nursery Assistant / Early Years Practitioner: * Provide a positive and happy learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children rsquo;s needs. * Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning. * Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children. * Assisting the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day to day high quality childcare. The ideal candidate will; * Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe. * Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five. * Be qualified to Level 2, 3 or equivalent in childcare (desirable and required for Senior Nursery Practitioner roles and above) * Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS ndash; Early Years Foundation Stages (desirable) Benefits Remuneration: * Regular team events * Regular support from the management team * Funded in house and external training opportunities including Levels 2, 3, 4+ in childcare, leadership and management courses, SEN and more) * Flexible holiday and working hours can be discussed * Annual pay reviews * Referral scheme Salary is negotiable, reflecting experience and qualifications.
