Residential childcare tutor

We are seeking new talent, therefore teaching or assessing qualifications are not required for this vacancy as our client want to support you through the qualification as part of their incentive. They will fund the training courses for you to obtain relevant qualifications, nurture and develop your skills to give you the confidence to empower and motivate learners. This role is delivering Apprenticeships specifically in residential childcare from Level 2, 3 and 5, it will involved managing a caseload of learners, ensuring you are teaching and assessing their work and supporting through to end point assessment (EPA). It will be a full time permanent position, with working hours of Monday to Friday on a hybrid model. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments to tailor effective learner support Share knowledge of the residential childcare sector, empowering apprentices Nurture and support a caseload of 30-40 learners, ensuring success at EPA Strategically plan teaching and learning activities with a robust assessment process Guide learners in developing crucial skills, including Mathematics and English proficiency Regularly review learner progress, adapting coaching strategies as needed Offer valuable information, advice, and guidance for holistic development Efficiently manage E-Portfolios for all learners Experience and Qualifications: Hold an assessor #39;s qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, or equivalent - desired) Possess a teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET, Cert Ed, or equivalent - desired) Occupational competence in a residential care home for children Hold a qualification in Residential Childcare up to level 5 Willingness to undertake relevant training or qualifications to stay at the forefront UK driver #39;s license with access to own vehicle Embark on a fulfilling career where your expertise in Residential Childcare contributes to shaping success stories.
