ABC Teachers are recruiting for an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to help cover a year 5/6 teacher position within the Sandwell area. This position will start from September 2024 and run until the end of the academic year (2025) on a full time basis. About the role This role includes the following: Working in a full class teacher role planning, presenting and assessing lessons and pupil progress. Working on a full time basis. PPA time will be allocated within these hours as well as support with planning, meaning extra-curricular work is left to a minimum. This will be long term cover starting from the 8th of April and lasting until the end of the academic year. About the school This school is a three form entry and is part of a wider trust of schools. Requirements To be considered for the role of KS2 Primary Teacher you will: Be able to build a strong rapport with staff and pupils Have prior experience leading in a KS2 classroom environment. Has a passion for teaching at primary school level Provide fun and engaging lesson plans in a safe classroom environment. Need a relevant QTS for working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration. Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service. Be able to gain relevant references from the last 2 years. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
