Warehouse operative transport coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing products. Responsibilities: - Receive and inspect incoming shipments. - Unload and load products onto trucks or shelves. - Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly manner. - Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently. - Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and responsibly. - Perform quality control checks on outgoing orders. - Keep the warehouse clean and organised. - Assist in inventory counts as required. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred. - Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems. (WMS) - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking. - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time.
