Shift Leader PSi Talent are looking for a Shift Leader to join a modern Bakery facility based in Kettering. They are currently looking for two Area managers, one for their days operation (6am / 6pm) and one for their nights operations (6pm / 6am) Shift Leader Benefits: * Company pension * Free parking * Health wellbeing programme * On-site parking * Referral programme Shift Leader Main Duties: * Production Manager you will be responsible to ensure the success of your operational area and continual development of your team * Ensure the Health and Safety of all colleagues, contractors and visitors * To coach and facilitate a continuous improvement culture, developing true teamwork and excellent communication and to ensure efficient use and control of labour to achieve Production Plan for all lines. * middot;Hourly figures should be recorded accurately and monitored, if corrective action is needed, it should be carried out immediately and communicated to the Production Manager. * Production and packing plans should be given to line leaders at the start of their shift the progress of the plan must be monitored throughout the shift reporting any deviation to the Production Manager and deciding on the corrective action. * Ensure and develop a capable team to meet all operational and future demand * Planning for continuous improvement within the department. * Conduct all operations in a safe manner complying with the responsibilities as stated in the Health Safety Manual. Shift Leader Essential Criteria: * Previous FMCG / Food experience as supervisor or junior manager * Demonstrates knowledge of GMP and HACCP * Demonstrates an understanding of Food Safety Culture Shift Leader Hours of work: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Day shift hours are 06:00 ndash; 18:00 and night shift hours are 18:00 ndash; 06:00 If you do not meet all of the requirements for this position, still apply.
