Level 2 Teaching Assistant We are recruiting a full-time Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in BL9 to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year, with opportunities for a possible extension. You will be supporting children with their learning and development in a EYFS class. You will also be expected to work with small groups of children with phonics and reading sessions and one to one support as and when required. Why choose Milk? Your role responsibilities: middot; Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students middot; Be committed to raising attainment, aspiration and self-esteem of pupils middot; Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs middot; You will work closely with the class teacher to provide a safe environment and engaging lesson Non-negotiables: middot; Holds a Level 2 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience within the last two years supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles * Must have a level 2 qualification for this role and previously support EYFS experience or similar. * Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher. * Two suitable references covering the last 2 years. * Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen.
