Accounts assistant

Accounts Assistant - South Leicester (Permanent) Major Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a manufacturing business based towards the south of Leicester who are looking to add an accounts assistant to their team on a permanent basis. This role will be working hand in hand, supporting the financial controller with financial duties as well as operational duties. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with all financial duties Assisting with bookkeeping duties Working with other departments of the business to assist with purchasing and sales administration duties. Working directly under the financial controller Using accounting online systems to assist with duties. General finance administration duties The ideal candidate: AAT - Level 2 (desired but not essential) Must be reliable and have good time keeping skills Experience working with xero or sage is desired but not essential Good IT Skills Able to work with a high degree of autonomy Excellent communication skills Bookkeeping skills are desired but not essential What we can offer you: Permanent job opportunity from day one Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Free onsite parking Employee discount on products Nest pension scheme 21 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays This role is working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and will be a fully office based role. The salary for this role is GBP25,000-GBP27,000 depending on experience and would be discussed at interview stage.
