Job Title: Vehicle Damage Assessor Location: Chelmsford CM1 1PD Salary: Up to GBP40,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus + other excellent benefits listed below Full time and Permanent 40-45hrs per week NO WEEKENDS! They are looking for a hard-working individual that can work as part of a team, is computer literate to document their work and can also work alone. The successful candidate will play a huge part in the day to day body shop operation. Minimum of 3 years rsquo; experience is welcomed but not 100% necessary. As an experienced VDA Estimator, the purpose of your role is to assess a wide range of vehicles, using Audatex and calculate costings and the time required to complete all necessary repairs accurately and professionally. About You You must be able to: * Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales * Work skillfully and safely under pressure * Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers specification * Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision * Be flexible in your approach * Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind. * You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety * guidelines; for example, wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
