Based in Kettering, this budding company is looking for a Transport Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to make a tangible impact. The Role: The Transport Planner will be pivotal in orchestrating the daily transport operations. Your day-to-day will involve crafting efficient routes and fleet optimisations that not only meet but exceed customer expectations within a multi-user, multi-drop environment. You #39;ll ensure every plan is cost-effective and tightly integrated with vehicle maintenance schedules to uphold superb service continuity. The Candidate: * A minimum of two years (or more) experience in transport planning, ideally gained in a fast paced, environment. * A background in 3PL would be the cherry on top but isn #39;t a deal-breaker. * Freight Forwarding experience would be highly advantageous, but not essential. * A knack for IT, Transport Planning TMS systems, creating slick, smart routes. * Analytical prowess to dissect costs and performance, fine-tuning them into a well-oiled logistical machine. * Stellar communication skills, because you rsquo;ll be at the heart of conversations with both customers and internal teams.
