General Manager Salary Range: GBP45k - GBP60k basic with package including car and bonus scheme (approx. total package value GBP70k) Location: Warwick Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a General Manager to lead the profitable day-to-day operations of a well-established SME engineering business. Reporting to director level, this role is pivotal in coordinating high-level commercial decisions and providing cross departmental support. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of services and products to clients, maintaining and monitoring costs against budgets, and upholding the quality standards of the company #39;s offerings. Day-to-day of the role: Oversee the delivery of services and products to clients, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Monitor and manage costs against pre-agreed budgets. Maintain high standards of health and safety and quality across the organisation. Support sales, delivery, and ancillary functions as required. Manage department heads and team leaders, ensuring high employee morale and team performance. Make high-level commercial decisions to enhance the profitability and reputation of the business. Demonstrate flexibility and reactivity to meet the changing needs of a dynamic business environment.Required Skills Qualifications: Proven experience at a leadership level within the engineering or manufacturing sector. Strong understanding of engineering processes and the manufacturing industry. Ability to motivate and support small teams effectively.
