Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Manchester Salary: GBP45k - GBP55k + GBP5k car allowance Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is looking for the next step in your career? The role - Quantity Surveyor As a Quantity Surveyor you will be a key part of the team and will report into the Senior QS Commercial Manager overseeing the project. The initial project in a large GBP45m student accommodation development in the centre of Manchester and you will be responsible for the following duties (including but not limited to): Preparation of bills and/or schedules for quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction and refurbishment of building works in relation to both Estimating and Post contract duties. Cost reporting. Preparation and valuation of progress and submission to client. Sub-contract procurement including sending out enquiries, collating prices, negotiation, order placement. Sub-contract valuations and payments in connection with any contract. Required experience: A degree/equivalent qualification (HNC/HND). At least 2-5 years #39; Post Grad experience. Preferably worked within a main contractor.What #39;s on offer?
