Job Details: * Full time hours * Night shifts * GBP14.85 About the home: This warm and friendly Residential Home is rated lsquo;Good rsquo; in all areas in their CQC report and specialises in elderly and dementia respite care. The care home is located within beautiful and picturesque surroundings in Crowthorne. As a Senior Carer you will be working in an established and well run care home that prides themselves on supporting their staff as well as their residents. You will play a key part with care delivery in the home, providing and ensuring the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas including person centred care, clinical care and dementia care. The Senior Care Assistants will promote high standards of care by ensuring all team members are acting appropriately and you will communicate professionally and warmly with visitors, family members and other health care professionals. Extensive training and support is provided by all staff in the home as well as NVQ training. Senior Care Assistant Duties: * Assist the Registered Nurses and Care Assistants with care delivery in the home * Assist with training and inductions to new Carers * Completing risk assessments * Creating care plans * Making a difference to each individual #39;s life in everything you do. * Encouraging residents to maintain their independence as fully as possible Senior Care Assistant Requirements: * Previous experience within a residential or nursing home * Previous experience as a Senior Carer or Care Team Leader * Minimum NVQ 2 * Medication trained If you are a caring and compassionate individual seeking a new senior opportunity within a home apply now!
