Heat treatment operative

Due to continued growth I rsquo;m currently recruiting for a Heat Treatment Operative to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. As the Heat Treatment Operative you will be responsible for operating furnaces as well as moving material using a counterbalance FLT or overhead crane. What rsquo;s on offer for the Heat Treatment Operative: * Competitive salary rate up to GBP30,000 p.a. * Weekly and monthly bonus * Additional bonus * Permanent opportunity Shift for the Heat Treatment Operative: * Rotating shifts * Week one 6am ndash; 14:00pm * Week two 14:00pm ndash; 22:00pm * Week three 22:00pm ndash; 06:00am Duties of the Heat Treatment Operative: * Operating machinery in the heat treatment area (chargers) * Collect work from the forgings department to load into heat treatment. * Operating the pendant and cab-controlled cranes within the machine shop. (All LOLER and associated training will be provided) * Managing the logistics of the department by moving goods around using FLT rsquo;s and the cranes. * Loading and unloading of vehicles via forklift or crane * General cleaning, tidying and removing any unwanted items from the department. * Support with continuous improvement * Work as a team to maximise productivity. * Maintain a safe working environment and comply with the Company rsquo;s H S Policy. The successful candidate for the Heat Treatment Operatives position will have the following experience: * 3 ndash; 5 years rsquo; experience operating Counterbalance FLT rsquo;s (Essential) * Experience working within a foundry (Desirable) * Operating overhead cranes (Desirable) Due to the high number of applications we receive, we are sometimes not able to respond directly to each candidate.
