Fabric Engineer / Mobile Handyman Required Job Type: Permanent Start date: Immediate Industry: Maintenance Location: Blackburn and Burnley (predominantly). Also sites in Fleetwood. Salary: GBP29,000, vehicle, fuel card, 24 days hol + BH, pension, sick pay JOB DESCRIPTION: My client who are an exciting Facilities Management company are looking for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to cover commercial sites predominantly in the Blackburn and Burnley area. There are also sites in Preston and Fleetwood that may need covering time to time. They are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer / Mobile Handyman who has ideally worked in a previous maintenance role and has PPM experience. They are looking for someone from an all round handyman background. This is a great opportunity with the opportunity to progress. This role is a permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday. Standard hours are 8am - 4.30pm however flexiblity is available for earlier/later start if desired. Overtime is available but not mandatory. Daily responsibilities will include: Planned and preventative maintenance Looking after the fabric of the building including: Minor Joinery Minor plastering Painting (touching up) PPM checks, water flushing, fire extinguishers etc Carrying out work safely and efficiently Building relationships with client and contractors on site Requirements for the role Experienced Fabric Engineer / Handyperson PPM experience Multi Skilled Reliable and can work as a team On offer is a salary from GBP29,000 + holidays.
