Residential Support worker Birmingham Salary: GBP27,108 - GBP27,849 inc of sleep ins Shifts: Vary depending on home. The Role You will be responsible to the Registered Manager, for the day-to-day duties within the home and the care and support of the Young People. You #39;d implement and follow the home #39;s operational policies, and the care practice standards. You #39;ll have plenty of opportunities to provide and ensure that care is within a warm and supportive atmosphere. Have some fun too! You #39;ll implement individual care plans so as to ensure the welfare of each Young Person, offer support and guidance to bank staff and volunteers working within our client. You won #39;t be alone and will be working with a well trained team, the home managers will show you how to get things done and have fun. Throughout you #39;ll receive one of the best support systems throughout your time and progression within the company. If you do not have a level 3 qualification, then we will enrol you on to this qualification and offer you plenty of training to ensure you have the guidance and attributes to flourish, and that #39;s just one of the many benefits you #39;ll get when working with our client. What you will need? Our ideal candidate will have experience working with children, specifically who have learning difficulties or emotional behaviour disorders A #39;can do #39; attitude - a team player who rolls up their sleeves to help others We genuinely care about our young people (and each other) so honesty and empathy is a must! The resilience to be able to deal with challenging situations A full UK driving licence which you #39;ve held for at least 12 months If you don #39;t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), our client will pay for you to study and support you every step of the wayHow we can help you?
