Cnc machine setter

We are currently recruiting for a company based in the Burnley area who are looking for a CNC Machine Setter. The successful candidate should be able to effectively program, set and operate 2 axis 5 axis mill/turn machines for manufacturing precision components from engineering drawings. Duties and responsibilities middot; Complete all setups and efficiently run moderate to very complex parts on CNC machines following detailed setup instructions. middot; Perform daily routine maintenance checks on machines (I.E., grease, oil, coolant, filters). middot; Liaise with the engineering department about the development/updates of documented setup sheets, tool lists and other associated documentation necessary for efficient manufacturing of machined components. middot; Must be able to operate multiple machines when required middot; To alter tool offsets to ensure components are conforming. middot; To check components in process to ensure they are correct. middot; To follow routings/guidelines middot; To report any issues with routing/guidelines to engineering department. middot; Must consistently demonstrate the ability to meet critical engineering specifications as shown on engineering prints. middot; Demonstrate the ability to identify processes improvements and incorporate necessary changes. middot; Communicate with Management, staff and machinists for shift change over and process requirements.
