Maintenance and operations support technician

Major Recruitment are currently seeking a maintenance and operations support technician for our client based on the outskirts of Huddersfield. The role of a maintenance and operations technician includes overall control of our machines, equipment, systems performance and engineering ops within the workshop and includes operational and support tasks: Equipment and system problem solving Equipment production readiness Equipment effectiveness and capability Engineering Ops Responsibilities: Equipment and system problem solving/Equipment production readiness/Equipment effectiveness and capability Programming, fault finding and producing production packs for automatic processing lines in PCB area Processing tool and equipment problem solving, including communication with equipment manufacturer support desks Equipment, tooling, jig and fixture control, maintenance and servicing Calibration control Setting control Providing cover support to cable cutting to enable the free-flow of production through the cell Working with Project Desk Technical Support to achieve effective and efficient equipment performance Support cover as required by Support Team Leader Engineering Operations Cutting support Testing support Qualifications: Knowledge of mechanical/engineering/electrical engineering preferred Previous machine operator experience preferred 5 GCSE #39;s including Maths and English preferred Hours Standard working hours = 38 hours per week Nominal working hours 08.30 to 16.26 Monday to Friday, 20 minutes break each day 12.00 to 12.20 INDAC
