Management accountant

Are you an experienced and qualified Management Accountant? Do you have strong experience of external audits? If so, our client, a growing manufacturing business, is recruiting for a Management Accountant for their site in Redditch. The role will involve supporting with the external audit process, supporting the business with the day to day running of the Finance function and being responsible for the timely and accurate production of monthly Management Accounts. Management Accountant Permanent Salary dependent on experience Monday ndash; Thursday 08:30 ndash; 17:00, Friday 8.30 ndash; 16:30 Redditch Management Accountant Job Description Being responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts, performing P L reviews, quarterly VAT returns, HMRC tax affairs and PAYE payments. Identifying and improving key business processes and controls including being responsible for process improvements and standardisation of processes for the business. Full involvement in the external audit process, including participation in discussions with auditors, coordinating the audit process and addressing any queries that may arise. Supporting the consolidation process, statutory accounting and other internal group reporting. Supporting with both quarterly rolling forecasting and annual budget setting processes. Management Accountant Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Finalist or holder of a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, etc) Prior experience of a relevant finance role within a manufacturing environment.
