Engineer

The Role To carry out ongoing preventative and emergency maintenance work throughout the site in conjunction with the requirements of the Company. Duties: * Daily visual equipment check for production line machinery * Carry out regular and ongoing electrical maintenance * Generally assist operations and office staff with requests for maintenance repairs; * Carry out tasks on maintenance repair list in priority order; * Complete works as detailed in Managers maintenance request sheets; * Attending and resolving emergency breakdowns as they occur, working to get equipment serviceable in a timely manner; * Installation and commissioning of equipment * Assist with carrying out general building maintenance The Person * Electrical experience * Manufacturing background * Good practical skills and a common-sense approach. * The ability to work under extreme pressure if, for example, an entire production line is shut down * The tact, diplomacy and sense of humour required to deal with people in stressful situations and provide confident assurance * Self-confidence and ability to work independently or as a member of a team JK Recruitment Please be aware that we receive a high volume of interest for each of our roles and we cannot guarantee we will be in touch if you are not shortlisted for the position.
