Production team leader

Production Team Leader | Ballingry | GBPGBPGBPNegotiable DOE My client a leading renewable energy plant (Biomass) urgently require a Production Team Leader to join their expanding operations on a permanent contract. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a two man shift team. Key responsibilities Manage day to day objectives for the site to include operational output, logistics, long term operational and maintenance needs, statutory compliance, resource planning and cost control measures. Identify and achieve key indicators of success, establishing improvement plans and targets for the shift team. Manage and be fully accountable for the core requirements of the SHE Management system. Ensure shift teams are competent both technically and behaviourally and that adequate support is available, organised and supervised where necessary. Provide strong management giving precise delegation and responsibility where needed. Motivate and enthuse all members of the shift team to contribute to a purposeful environment. Ensure full implementation and continued improvement of the Sertica Maintenance System. The successful candidate will be a competent Sertica user with a high level of technical and operational plant awareness. Ideally you will have a #39;time served #39; apprenticeship, a management qualification equivalent to level 3 or above, IOSH Managing Safely or above, with a minimum of 5 years power generation/utility experience.
