Support Worker and Senior Support Workers Positions Available GBP32000 for residential support workers GBP37000 for senior support positions Live-in (2 days on then 4 off every rota) This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a Residential Home for Children and Young People within the Cumbria area. Because of the unique rota, I have put candidates in these roles from all around the north as you get all of your hours done in two days. Working for a specialist provider of care to Children and Young People in residential based settings, this is a leading organisation known for their innovation with vulnerable looked after children. Their philosophy is to support young individuals from all backgrounds and to provide them with a reliable home and educational environment with the required support to live meaningful and valued lives within the local community. As the Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be supporting Young People within 4 single occupancy residential homes for young people with who may present challenging behaviours due to adverse traumatic backgrounds. Your main duties are to manage a shift, delivering care within a residential home, motivate your team and support the Deputy and Registered Managers to fulfil the homes statement of purpose. In addition, you will provide emotional, therapeutic and behavioural support. You will be a naturally caring and compassionate person with a true passion and patience for helping others in times of crisis. You will be required to hold a full UK Driving Licence, hold a level 3 in Children and Young people or equivalent, experience and understanding in a similar setting is essential. This is a full-time position with a salary of over GBP32000 for RSWs and GBP37500 inclusive of sleep in rates, in addition to exciting benefits.
