Management accountant

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a highly successful business in Wigan to recruit an ambitious Management Accountant. This is a fantastic role for part qualified or finalist CIMA/ACCA studiers, to step into a varied role covering management accounts, month-end, reporting and VAT/CIS returns, under the mentorship of an established Financial Controller. Responsibilities include: bull; Preparation of monthly management accounts. bull; Monthly balance sheet reconciliations analysis bull; Input of financial transactions, including Sales, Purchases Bank transactions bull; Management of the Sales, Purchase and Subcontract Ledgers. bull; Supplier Subcontractor payments runs. bull; Submission of Quarterly Monthly VAT returns. bull; Submission of CIS returns. bull; Ensuring that finance reporting timelines are adhered to. bull; Assist with monthly cost reports and dealing with cost queries from the QS team. bull; Processing of credit card transactions In return, candidates will receive a competitive package including discretionary bonus, 28 days holiday + bank holidays, 6% pension, life insurance x3, private medical insurance, discount cards, free gym, electric car scheme and free parking.
