Key Responsibilities: As a Plant Technician / Plant Fitter /HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician, you will be responsible for: bull; Routine Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections, servicing, and maintenance of Screens, 360 Excavators, Loading Shovels, Dumpers, Crushers and Heavy Goods Vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition. bull; Diagnosis and Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately. bull; Quality Control: Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards, adhering to industry best practices and safety regulations. bull; Documentation: Accurately documenting all work performed, including parts used and hours worked, to maintain clear service records. bull; Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining repairs, and offering maintenance advice. bull; Team Collaboration: Collaborating with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless workflow and excellent customer satisfaction. Requirements: To be well-suited to this role as a Plant Technician / Plant Fitter /HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician, you should have: bull; Technician Qualification: A relevant qualification or apprenticeship in vehicle maintenance and repair. bull; Experience: Good experience as a Plant Technician / Plant Fitter /HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing vehicles and/or commercial vehicles. bull; Technical Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, along with a solid understanding of vehicle systems. bull; Adequate Equipment: You will need to supply your own tools and other relevant equipment to carry out work required. bull; Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. bull; Team Player: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team. bull; Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to safety protocols and practices. bull; Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to employer needs when necessary.
