Estimator

Estimator/ Senior Estimator required for a permanent opportunity based near Sevenoaks, Kent. GBP65 - GBP80k plus excellent package depending on experience. Our client is a leading National contractor undertaking planned maintenance and infrastructure services in the housing and property markets, reviving homes and communities across the UK and working with multiple social landlords to improve both the interior and exterior of housing standards and amenities. Reporting Directly into the Commercial Director, they are looking for an Estimator / Senior Estimator to join the Commercial team office based in the Kent office situated near Sevenoaks in Kent. The role will include but not limited to: * Liaising with sub contractors to ensure competitive rates * Reviewing tenders and updating the costing database * Liaising with clients at budget stage * Liaising with commercial and build teams * Undertaking feasibility appraisals * Preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates * Cost Planning, take offs and Benchmarking * Build relationships across internal and external parties The client is looking to meet with Estimators with experience either within the fit out or general construction industry . Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a keen commercial eye for producing competitive and accurate tenders to tight deadlines.
